You probably have heard a lot of things about 1and1 webhosting, some say it is bad; some say they have never had any problem with 1&1, etc. In this review, as an over 5 years 1and1 customer, I will provide you with right information and tell you my experience with 1and1 webhosting. First, lets start with answering to some claims around there that 1and1 blocked their accounts, closed their domains, etc.

Blame 1&1?

As I read complaints about 1&1, I remember one of my favorite quotes: “Everybody is innocent in prison”.

If you believe to those who blame 1&1, they close accounts for no reason – then why the hell haven’t they closed my account within these 5 years?

For every hosting company, there are at least 200 web pages that say “hostmonster sucks”, “bluehost sucks”, “hostgator sucks”, “1and1 sucks” etc. none of them mention the actualy problem caused them to get banned.

People complain all the time, they complain about Dell, HP, Compaq, Apple, Toshiba, Asus, IBM etc. and if you listen to all those individuals, then don’t buy any laptop, computer, or printer because all of them suck!

There is something called TOS, it stands for Terms of Service and every company has its own terms and if you violate their terms, of course getting banned, blacklisted is just a consequence. Every hosting company has its own terms, for example, most of them don’t allow “play games online” websites. If you decide to work with any company you have to meet their requirements.

Price Difference of 1&1:

Do you know that hosting companies offer at least – for affiliates? So, what does it mean to you? Normal hosting package costs around – and if – of it goes to an affiliate, so what is the actual price of that hosting package? ? maybe less… But with 1and1, it is different.
