What’s The Best Search Based Keyword Tool?

What’s the best search based keyword tool?  If you are using article marketing as your medium to drive traffic to your website, you already know how important the right keywords are to your article marketing efforts.  In order to be successful, you need to have the right tools, and only the best search based keyword tools will do.  Let’s take a look at a few that are available, and discuss some pro’s and cons to each.

Google External Keyword Tools

Google’s external keyword tool is a great selection for doing keyword research, as you can typically type in any keyword, and the tool will give you all of the results for keywords that are directly related to your initial search, and also it will start you off with some new ideas that you can write about that you might not have initially thought of.  While I don’t think that it is the best search based keyword tool, using the google tool is a great place to start if you don’t have the funds to invest in a more elaborate search based keyword tool.  The results that are given from your searches are a little vague, but still awesome nonetheless.

Wealthy Affiliate Keyword Tool

The search based keyword tool offered at Wealthy Affiliate is hands down the best keyword tool available, and it comes free with your Wealthy Affiliate Subscription.  Upon typing in your initial keyword, you will get results for searches from last month, average searches, estimated traffic that you will receive to your article for that particular keyword, how many websites already have content with the exact keyword you are researching, and competition, meaning how difficult it would be for you to get your articles on the first page of google for that particular keyword.  All of these attributes are important to your article marketing efforts, and if you couple this tool with the Rapid Writer tool, which is also offered at Wealthy Affiliate and comes as a part of your subscription, you will see the results you wish to see.  There is no other tool like it on the market, and in my opinion it is the best search based keyword tool to use for your efforts.

Wordtracker

Wordtracker delivers the long tail advantage by giving you 1,000 keywords per search1. This will give you the advantage to find multiple additional keywords that you may not have found had you not been using this tool.  Also, 1,000 additional keywords per each search will definitely keep you busy with your article marketing efforts, you won’t ever run out of ideas.  Wordtracker’s keyword competition data helps you to choose the most profitable keywords for your online marketing campaigns.  While I feel like Wordtracker is an awesome search based keyword tool, the features of wordtraker’s tool are also offered with Wealthy Affiliate’s keyword tool, and my reason for saying Wealthy Affiliate’s keyword tool will be better than Wordtracker’s is that Wordtracker costs a month, and a subscription to Wealthy Affiliate as a whole only costs a month.  You get much more value at Wealthy Affiliate.  Training, coaching, keyword tools, forums, the whole nine.  Wordtracker is still an awesome search based keyword tool nonetheless.

Compare the best search based keyword tool lists for yourself and see which one will be the best fit for your efforts.  While I clearly feel as if Wealthy Affiliate offers the best search based keyword tool, you may feel as if it’s not the best for you.  See for yourself!
