Facebook Marketing Tips – 3 Tips Guaranteed To Massively Boost Your Website Traffic In No Time

Need to find some customers fast? Here are a couple of traffic generating shortcuts that you can implement right now using Facebook to increase your website traffic and give you business a great boost. These things don’t take long to set up, and if you do them right you can bring waves of potential clients to your company.

Become a Facebook member When you become a Facebook member, you have the ability to meet millions of other Facebook users. Many of those users are part of your prospective customers and would likely be interested in what you offer if they only knew you offered it. By joining Facebook and interacting with the other members, people become interested in who you are and naturally become interested in what you do. Interacting with your prospective customers will help you find new customers on a regular basis.

Become a member of a Facebook group Many of your potential customers are already on Facebook, and have likely joined a Facebook group that caters to their needs. If you become a member of this same group, you will be able to meet many potential customers. You’ll have many opportunities to get to know people and find their interest in your company. As you demonstrate your knowledge in areas they’re interested in, you’ll gain many new contacts amongst your prospective customers.

Start a Facebook group discussion By joining these groups you can participate directly with the people most likely to be interested in what your group offers. One way to do this is by starting a group discussion or posting something on the group’s wall. Either way, you can pose interesting questions to the group or offer helpful information–perhaps information located on your web site–and use that to gain exposure for your organization and whatever you offer. Being an active group member in this way can bring you a lot of notoriety and help you find interested prospects.

Mastering these tactics may seem like a daunting task at first, but becoming proficient in them will bring waves of traffic to your site and help you find customers that your competition, who hasn’t bothered mastering these skills, will not ever have a chance at finding first. And compared to sticking flyers on cars, it’s a breeze!

Question by Love-A-Bull: Need help please!.. Websites? Pay-Pal?..?
Okay, I have been making hand-made jewelry for a while now and just selling it to friends and family, and their friends and family, etc. I started out doing this for fun for myself, and ended up actually being able to make some extra money with it. I haven’t even really thought about trying to expand this until just the other day when my best friend told me that she knows someone who sells hand-made jewelery through Facebook somehow. She told me that the quality of my stuff is better than hers, over-all, and this girl actually sells quite a bit online. So, she thinks I’d be able to do at least that good if I did the same thing.

I always have TONS of jewelry laying around, I do this as a hobby so any time I have extra time, that’s what I do. As of right now I have about 800 pieces that I can sell. Because I was just doing this for me, I haven’t made many duplicates, almost everything is unique. I am worried about that for selling online though. I was thinking that I could pick 10-15 pieces and post them online just to see if they sell, and if so, which ones people like the most. Then I was thinking I could make more of the pieces that sell the fastest, or that the most people want. I also want to still sell several unique pieces though, and seeing as how I have so many unique pieces, I can just sell the ones I already have made, a few at a time, along with the ones that I am making multiples of. Does that make since? And does that sound like a good idea? I am new to this, so I’m not exactly sure how to go about this to get everything started.

Also, I haven’t checked into websites yet, I am first going to check and see how this girl is selling her stuff on facebook, and then I’m also going to check into how to start my own website. I was wondering how I am suppose to set up a way for people to buy things though. The first thing I thought of was Pay-Pal https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/consumer/Receive_Money-outside I know countless people use Pay-Pal, and it seems simple to set up and use. I don’t know though, because again, this is all completely new to me. What do you think? Is there a place that you know of where I can start a website, or that I can sell my jewelry on? And would you suggest I go with Pay-Pal, or are there other options that may be better?

I am not looking to make this anything huge, I still want this to be something I enjoy and do for myself, but making some extra money with this would be awesome! : ) So, any advice, tips, suggestions.. anything.. would be very helpful and greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any help! : )

Basically you would need a website set like an online store (with PayPal, Shopping Cart – so that you can receive orders and payment). PayPal it’s a good option.

It’s very easy to create such a website. You can do it in 2 ways:

1. using a web hosting that offers shopping cart – it costs under $ 3 / month
or
2. using an ecommerce platform – you’d have your online store in less than 5 minutes – $ 24/month

Here is an article on how you can create an online store using each of these methods: http://www.businessever.com/onlinebusiness/build-online-store.html

Hope I could help you!

Face Your Customers with Facebook

Indeed, communicating properly with customers and delivering the right message to the right people has been one of the major challenges for any marketer since day one. Since early days of marketing, various forms of communication medium have been evolving with developments in technology as well as its consumers.

For a long time in the history of marketing communication, media remained the stronghold of news makers and advertisers and communication was mostly one way from the marketer to the reader. However, the trend of this inequality of voice was broken with the advent of the Internet and further developments within that medium itself.

Internet and Quantum Change in Media

The Internet brought about a sea change in the science and practice of mass communication and hence the process of marketing itself. But much before common users could take control of the content on the World Wide Web, the way we see it today, there was a time when content creation was the forte of those well-versed in HTML programming and web scripting languages. However, with the advent of services, such as blogs and social networking sites, the power of mass communication moved to the common user on the Internet.

Facebook – Front-Runner in Social Media Phenomenon

With 500 million users worldwide, and the numbers growing steeply, Facebook is emerging as one of the strongest mediums, with users getting totally involved in creating more and more content on the website. At any given point in time, millions of conversations take place, with precious customer-related information seeping through each of these, in the most natural way.

Customer Insight Really

Even before the first television spot or a newspaper advertisement goes live, any company serious about its brand spends a great deal of effort and money on gathering information and insight into what their customers really want and how they seek to accomplish those needs. A lot of money is spent on brand research that delves into the awareness levels of the brand vis-a-vis competition.

This information can be readily accessed freely floating on a social networking platform, such as Facebook. All the answers that a brand may want to seek are hidden in the conversations happening through wall comments, photographs, tags, fan pages, and many such avenues through the same platform of Facebook. All of this information is first hand, with honest responses.

Coming Face to Face With Customers

Users on Facebook form fan pages and groups pertaining to their interests and form conversations around topics and brands of their interests. Here are some tips with how a new age brand manager can keep a tab and also build his brand on Facebook.

Do a Brand search on Facebook – Conducting a search on Facebook with the terms related to your brand or that of your competition throws up results that include customers associating with the brand and various discussions, fan pages, where the brand features. Going through these conversations can reveal the opinion of the customers about your brand.

Creating a Fan page: If you are confident that your brand has the capability of attracting positive response and drawing fans, it is time you create a fan page for your brand and watch users “liking” the page and enroll for the same. The fan page can serve as an excellent platform to directly engage with customers and create a strong bond.

Create branded applications- Applications can range from entertaining games with your brand to useful tools related to your product.

The possibilities provided by Facebook to reach out to customers are endless, and all of this can be done at minimal cost with maximum impact. But while doing all of this as a marketer, you need to remember that the customer and you are on a level playing field, with both having equal opportunity to express. The customer is free to share his positive as well as negative experiences with your brand, which can influence other customers watching your brand carefully.

This is where you need dedicated efforts of professionals who understand the dynamics of the medium, which is very different from what conventional media marketers are generally used to. Facebook can hence help you come face to face with your customers. It becomes extremely important for you to know how this medium and conversations should be managed.
