Article Marketing Sites: How To Choose The Best Directories?

Before you choose and use any article marketing site, first you should determine what purposes you are going to use these directories for? After you have decided about that, we can take in to consideration the following important things while choosing the top article promotion sites.

Article Marketing Sites: What Should I Consider In Order To Choose The Best Ones?

1.    Alexa Ranking

The less alexa ranking the site has, the more reputable it is in the eyes of search engines. So start building your list of article marketing sites from the directories with less alexa ranking.

2.    Do-follow or no-follow

This is also important especially if you are going to use article promotion mainly for link building. Try to focus mostly on dofollow directories to get maximum Google juice for your sites.

3.    SEO friendly, especially Google friendly

Not all of popular article sites are Google friendly. So try to use only seo friendly article directories to get maximum results in minimum time.

4.    Does it allow direct affiliate links?

Only a few article directories (like articlesbase, goarticles) allow affiliate links. So consider this before including your site link in the resource box.

5.     Average Daily Traffic

It is also important if you want to get targeted traffic to your websites on a regular basis. Remember the higher pagerank of the article directories doesn’t always mean that they get lot of traffic every day.

Conclusion:

Article marketing sites can bring in solid passive income if you benefit of them the right way. So consider the above-mentioned tips in your daily article promotion.

The Number One Advice For Selling On Ebay

The Number One Advice For Selling On Ebay

This is not about what to sell, how to sell or where to find things to sell on eBay. It’s not even about how much you can make by selling on eBay. Contrary to what most people think, there is another aspect to selling on eBay.

Here’s what I consider to be the number one advice for selling on eBay – customer service. That’s right, customer service.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a hugely popular power seller or just a stay at home mom selling a little of this and that, you’ve got to give good service to your customers.

eBay is nothing more than a HUGE online store. So many vendors to pick from, so much merchandise, who’s the buyer going to choose to buy from? Hopefully it’s you.

So how does a buyer know who gives good customer service and who doesn’t? If you’re familiar with eBay you already know it’s by looking at the seller feedback. But just in case you don’t know about feedback, I’ll fill you in on it.

Every time someone buys something on eBay they are asked to give “feedback” on the item they bought and the seller from whom they bought. They are asked to rate such things as – was the item as described? Did the seller ship according to their stated shipping time? Were the shipping and handling charges reasonable? How was the communication from the seller?

The answers to these questions can make or break you as a seller on eBay. Each time you sell an item you essentially get 1 point of feedback which can be positive, neutral or negative. Your goal is to have 100% positive, or as close to that as possible.

I know when I buy on eBay I want to deal with someone who has a lot of positive feedback. That way I can feel confident I’m going to get what I want as quickly as I want it.

So if you’re thinking about selling on eBay here’s some advice on how to get some feedback before you start selling. Consider being a buyer before you sell.

Sellers get to leave feedback for buyers, too. If you were to purchase, say, 6 to 10 items you could already have a feedback rating of 6 to 10 before you start selling.

Now to recap, no matter how much is sold on eBay it’s just like any other place you buy from. Everyone wants customer service. So give the people what they want…the product they’re looking for with good customer service.

Selling on Ebay? Get Advice to Deal With Tough Customers

Selling on Ebay? Get Advice to Deal With Tough Customers

If you are going to sell on eBay, that means you are going to be dealing with customers all over the world. Just like a regular business, you will occasionally run across a customer that is very hard to deal with. 90% of all the customers you will have on eBay are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Its that 10% that can drive you completely crazy, if you let them. It is how you deal with that 10% of troublesome customers that really shows what kind of business person you are. Sometimes these difficult customers can turn into your best customers.

Probably the most common problem with buyers on eBay is failure to pay for an item. On eBay, when you bid on an item or “Buy It Now” you are responsible to pay for that item. That isn’t always the case. When you do try and get payments from a slow-paying member, remember to remain professional at all times. eBay products like Selling Manager Pro send automated payment reminders and usually get the job done. After a certain amount of time, if payment isn’t sent by the buyer you can follow eBay’s procedure to get a credit on your lost fees and will put an unpaid item strike against the non paying member’s account.

There will always be a number of your customers that won’t be happy with the actual item they bought from you. Just as in life, you can’t make everyone happy. Make your refund policy perfectly clear in your auction descriptions and stick to it. It is much easier to click 3 buttons in PayPal to issue a refund than fight to remove a negative feedback from your account. The first thing to do is say you are sorry when a customer isn’t happy with their item from you. Then offer to do whatever it takes to make it right, including an alternate item or free gift. At that time, offer a refund and issue it if requested.

The speed that an eBay buyer gets the item remains a concern, as well. Do the absolute most you can to get an item out fast. If you are sending items from your home or business, don’t wait to send them once a week. Make a trip to the post office every day you have a sale. If you sell through a dropshipping company with your eBay listings, do whatever you can to ensure speedy delivery. Some dropshipping facilities are located in foriegn countries, meaning it will take quite a while for shipment. If you do have lengthy shipment times because of your dropshipping supplier, explain that fully inside your auction description. Sometimes there is just nothing you can do about shipping complaints. I sell eBooks on eBay. eBooks are delivered instantly through a download link in eBay. It is not uncommon for me to get complaints by customers of not getting their item, when the download is sitting in their eBay account. I am sure that sellers with other types of goods have other problems related to their specific products.

Remember to always guard your feedback rating on eBay. It is the way that customers see you and decide to buy from you or not. Also, in the eBay PowerSeller program, your feedback ratings can lead to fee discounts.

Just like in the real world, there are tough customers to deal with on eBay. Some people are just that way. It is how you deal with these tough customers that makes or breaks you as a seller on eBay. Remember to remain professional at all times and you will be able to deal with almost all the problems that come up while selling on eBay.
