Start by placing free classified ads online at CraigsList, Kijiji, and other sites you can search for on Google under ”free online classifieds” Make sure you choose the right category (Business, Products for sale etc…) or else your ads will be removed.

When writing your ads, have a catchy title. Keep it short and simple. Same goes for your ad. Make sure you have your contact info (name,number,email, and website) in every ad.

You should also participate in online forums/discussion groups to spread the word on your business. Yahoo Groups,MySpace,Facebook, etc…

Set up your own blog on Blogger or WordPress and talk about your stuff. Update it regularly and post to other blogs relating to your product or about business in general. This will help raise your search engine ranking significantly.

Network with people and make sure you never come off pushy. Just relate to people as you would in person and give the facts. No hype,or false promises or else you will generate bad buzz which is suicide.

Start with these 3 strategies for now and do them consistently to drive traffic to your online business. It will take sometime to see results but keep at it. Then you can attempt other more involved online strategies.
